ABN 93 083 260 440
The company was founded as a privately held trading company in 1999 with the express intention of trading as the ESCO dealer for South Australia and Broken Hill.
Dedicated premises were purchased in 2000 as the business expanded to include the manufacturing and repair of earthmoving buckets, wear components for crushing and screening plants, spare parts for ball mills and floatation systems.
Over the ensuing years other manufacturers sought MQSCo out to represent their goods and services, including;
• Skellerup………..a range of rubber based products for mining and quarrying with projects including the complete lining of Iluka Minerals Wimmera plant
• Locker wire weavers…………full range of screening media that successfully serviced all the major quarry groups and exclusively the ballast quarries for the Alice Springs –Darwin Rail project
• Australian Mud Company…….drilling fluids and accessories that were delivered throughout South Australia and Northern Territory
• Environmental Control Systems, a joint venture that has evolved into the most successful supplier of foam dust suppression systems nationally
In 2010 the focus returned to the ESCO business as ESCO Corporation came to Australia in their own right, the license agreement with Bradken expired and Mine & Quarry Service Co entered a new era as the exclusive distributor for South Australia and Northern Territory, servicing the OEM market as well as every significant mine and the majority of quarries. Company revenue peaked at AUD 8 mill.
In 2015 ESCO acquired the sales and service agreement, brought it “in house” and employed the entire staff including the Principal, Peter Duffy. By agreement Duffy has continued to work on a consultant basis for ESCO Australia Holdings as required.
The Company has a long standing, collaborative relationship with Donald Equipment and has shared premises
